About the Program
The League of CA Cities API Caucus is proud to co-host the San Diego Regional Leadership Academy. The Academy is a two-day leadership training event for community stakeholders, individuals seeking to run for public office, current elected officials, and those with an interest in policymaking or social justice.
The San Diego Regional Leadership Academy is hosted virtually in partnership with APAICS. The training consists of interactive political training with topics ranging from developing your campaign plan, communications, digital organizing, power mapping, volunteer recruitment and management, and fundraising.
Cost of Attendance
There is a small fee of $25 to attend the academy. However, if you are a dues-paying member of the API Caucus, it will be waived.

If you are unable to pay the $25, scholarship options are available.
The Regional Leadership Academy is designed to support local leaders in San Diego; however, we encourage all interested individuals throughout the state to apply.
